What vocational training offers

- Shorter than a bachelor's degree, so you can start working sooner.
- A lot of practice: workshops, hands-on work and work placements.

- You are a citizen of Vanuatu (or another listed Pacific country) and you live there.
- You don't have citizenship or permanent residency in a country outside the Pacific Islands Forum countries.
- You meet APTC's entry conditions, including English, reading and maths.
- No one else (for example your employer) can pay for your training.
- You have not had an Australian Government or NZAID scholarship that was ended early.
For Ni-Vanuatu applicants
- APTC gives priority to students from rural and remote areas, and pays attention to women and people with disability.
- APTC application forms are free.
- Where you study
- At APTC campuses. Most Ni-Vanuatu students train in Vanuatu (Port Vila). The full bursary is for training at an APTC campus in another Pacific country.
- Language of study
- English
- Fields of study
- Australian vocational qualifications (trades, technical and service jobs). APTC is becoming "Pacific Australia Skills", and its course list is offline for now. Ask the Port Vila office which courses are open.
