Privacy

We collect as little as possible. You can use the whole site without giving us any personal information, and we never ask for documents, passwords or payment.

Browsing the site

  • No account, no cookies, no advertising, no tracking across other websites.
  • We count visits anonymously with Vercel Web Analytics, to know which languages, pages and countries are most useful. It uses no cookies and does not record your IP address or who you are: only the page, the country and city, the type of device and browser, and the site you came from.
  • If you choose a language, your browser remembers it on your own device (local storage), so the home page opens in that language next time. It is never sent to us.
  • Our host (Vercel, a US company) processes technical data such as IP addresses to deliver the pages and protect the site, as any website host does.
  • Calendar files (.ics) are downloaded to your device. We don't know who adds them.

Reporting an error or suggesting a scholarship

When you use the report form, we store:

  • your message, the page it is about and the link you give (if any);
  • your email address, only if you choose to give it, so we can reply. We delete it as soon as we have dealt with your message;
  • a coded value made from your IP address and the date, used only to stop spam (no more than a few messages per hour). It changes every day and does not contain your IP address.

Messages are read by the people who run this site, only to correct or add information. They are never published. They are stored in a database hosted by Supabase in Australia (Sydney), and deleted 12 months after you send them. We also get a copy by email in our project inbox (Zoho Mail, servers in Europe). We delete this copy once we have dealt with your message.

We use this information because you chose to send us a message: to answer you, to correct the site and to protect it from spam.

Please don't include personal details such as passport numbers. If you are under 18, you don't need to give an email address.
